VOLUNTEERS APPLICATION

We are seeking for SDG writers who will be helping with the content of our blog – FreeWeb4SDGs.com and other necessary writings pertaining to our operations.

Approved writers will be created as a user and contributor on our platform and every content produced or uploaded by them will be credited to them. Each writer would usually have their profile embedded in each of their content.

As an organisation that seeks for the personal and professional development of our volunteers, we usually organise trainings and give tips on how our volunteers can improve on their skills. This is without prejudice to the benefits of being a volunteer for FreeWeb4SDGs.

If you fit the bill and want to make sustainable difference in this generation, you are invited to join our team through the Volunteers Application Form on the other tab.

In every SDG organisation, there is always a need to have a group of people who are volunteers, who see themselves as stakeholders to manage the affairs of the organisation with just one common goal and objective of achieving the 17 SDG goals.  These volunteers will help in facilitating changes in mindsets by raising awareness on them, as well as inspiring others.

As a volunteer for FreeWeb4SDGS you agree as follows that:

Every information a volunteer will come across while serving Free Web for SDGs is a privileged information and must be treated with the strictest confidence.

You are willing to donate your time and services to Free Web for SDGs and in turn the initiative is willing to accept such time and service by the Volunteer, and under no circumstance will they be termed an employee of Free Web for SDGs.

Free Web for SDGs volunteers understand that the services being rendered will be freewill and under no circumstances will they expect any form of salary or benefits from the initiative for the services provided within this volunteer agreement.

Any contributions to the Free Web for SDGs that you receive in the discharge of your duties as a volunteer will be made to the Operational Headquarters of Free Web for SDGs Initiatives.

Volunteers will be solely responsible for their personal costs in the course of carrying out their volunteering but in some cases, stipends may be provided by the Operational Headquarters.

Free Web for SDGs does not provide volunteers with insurance of any kind.

There is no registration fees for being a volunteer for Free Web for SDGs, but when the need arises volunteers could make contributions towards a cause or a project. The modalities would always be agreed upon by the volunteers.

Every volunteer reports to the Team Leader for instruction and guidance, and are free to offer suggestions on how to improve on the project at hand.

Volunteers are expected to conduct all volunteer activities with high standards and professionalism and do nothing to cause detriment to the reputation or goodwill of the Free Web for SDGs Initiative.

Free Web for SDGs encourage registered volunteers to recommend others as volunteers but will not offer any form of referral reward for the referring volunteer.

Free Web for SDGs will not be liable and disclaims all liability for any loss or harm the volunteer or associates may suffer in the course of their volunteerism.

Since a volunteer is not an active employee, they may terminate this volunteer agreement at any time for any reason they deem necessary, by giving three days’ notice. Free Web for SDGs is also free to terminate a volunteer’s services without prior notification.

The copyright of all photographs or video footages shot by photography and videography volunteers during any operation is the copyright property of Free Web for SDGs, and must not be published in any way without permission.

Free Web for SDGs recognises the sacrifice and commitment of their volunteers and on some occasions may provide some additional benefits like free tickets, coupons, training, advancement opportunities, get-togethers, leisure trips and many others to show gratitude.

Every volunteer is entitled to an e-copy of Free Web for SDGs Volunteers Etiquette Handbook.
